I’m a PhD candidate in Politics at Princeton University. My research focuses on Chinese foreign policy and security issues, global governance, and international order. In my dissertation book project, I examine how China influences rules and norms governing the global commons. In other work, I study Chinese grand strategy and security policy, governance of the commons, and Chinese influence at international organizations. My teaching skills have been recognized at the university-level with Princeton’s highest teaching award for graduate students.

Previously, I worked as an analyst in the Center for Naval Analyses’ China and Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Division and was awarded a Fulbright to Taiwan. I hold an M.A. in Politics from Princeton, an M.A. in East Asian studies from Stanford University, and a B.A. in political science and Asian studies from Swarthmore College.
